You are too hard on yourself!

Believe it or not, some days you might sink low and believe everyone else is better than you. And that's okay.

Everyone has a different story to tell and just because you don't have what you want right now doesn't mean it won't come to the light and/or you can't or won't get it.

It's not too late!

Make the choice today to be what you want to.

Other people might try to put you off doing a particular thing; you've just got to stand up for yourself and be proud. It might not be what they would do in your situation, but everybody is different. People will try to dampen your dreams but don't let them.

Just hold your head up high. You know where you're going. You know what you want and though you may not know how to go about getting it right now - that's Ok. Life is something we learn on the job.

That is true of our dreams too. Oftentimes people give up on their dreams because they no longer believe themselves capable of it. People will have told them it's unrealistic and lost their belief in it long before life has gotten in the way.

There are fighters though. If you are one, you will have had to grit your teeth sometimes and just be confident enough to listen to your heart instead of your head. It isn't just other people who will try to dampen your hopes and dreams. Everyone has a voice inside their heads but that is an inside critic and one you can answer very firmly.

Friday Recipe - Catalan Fish Stew - Rick Stein This is an everyday Catalan fish soup that is more like a stew and has several variants. Like so many Catalan dishes, it starts with a sofregit of fried garlic and tomato. A hearty Catalan fish soup; a meal in bowl.
