We can’t help it. It’s human nature.  For a moment, just pull yourself out of the situation and think about it. Try to steer your thoughts in a positive direction. It isn’t easy to stop doubting yourself for any reason, but it is so worth it when you do. It’s a hard habit to break. But once you start thinking positively more positive things will happen in your life. It isn’t an immediate response though. It’s Ok to get down sometimes. Makes you appreciate the highs when they come! I was in hospital having just had an operation and I was out four days later! I’m not super-woman; it did hurt for a little while but as soon as I put the pain to the back of my mind and focused on being happy the hurt subsided. I know this can’t work every time. As I’m due to have an operation later this month, I was just lucky it did work for me.  Just keep reminding yourself that people go through tougher things every day. Helped me anyway. People go through pain every day, and this may not help ever

I’ve had a few moments where I’ve just had to say something, either to voice how strongly a particular situation has made me feel or just because it was a now or never moment.
